Get involved with Widening Inclusion in MIR (WIMIR) group

WIMIR started out as Women in MIR (WiMIR), which is a group of people within the International Society for Music Information Retrieval dedicated to promoting the role of, and increasing opportunities for, women in the MIR field. Recently, the scope and influence of WiMIR has expanded to wider diversity and inclusion initiatives as Widening Inclusion in Music Information Retrieval (WIMIR). Regardless of gender or orientation, the WIMIR group is made up of individuals interested in taking a more active role in building a better support system, improving visibility, and ultimately creating a better inclusive environment in MIR. More details on WIMIR and its activities can be found here.
